Hospice physicians fulfill a different role than nurses. A hospice physician will often see many patients at a time, making regular visits to check on the patient, discuss their condition with nurses and caregivers, and make appropriate recommendations. Hospice physicians are on call at any time if the patient’s condition suddenly worsens. Your physician from Westlake Village Hospice takes their job extremely seriously, doing their utmost to provide the best possible care for the end of life period.

One of the benefits of hospice care is having a dedicated team that’s on your side. Your physicians and nurses will coordinate to make you or your loved one’s passing as comfortable and peaceful as possible.
